INTERNAL / EXTERNAL JOB POSTING Position Title: Indigenous Women's Bridging Program - Facilitator Reports to: Executive Leadership Team Hours: 15 hours per week Terms: 1-year term with possibility of renewal, dependent on funding Start Date: October 2019 Salary: Based upon Bridges salary guideline, and education and experience Closing date: Friday, October 11, 2019 Bridges for Women Society is looking for a dynamic and skilled woman to join our team. We are seeking someone passionate about facilitating women's programs, with a grounded understanding of Indigenous Feminism, and experience and understanding of issues and priorities for Indigenous Women including members of the Metis nation, Inuit and First Nations women. Summary Bridges for Women Society offers Indigenous programs in communities as well as at our offices. Our Bridges Employment Program provides specialized employment services to women who have experienced violence, abuse and trauma. Our goal is to assist women to increase their emotional wellness, employability skills, life skills and achieve financial independence. We provide a range of employment and trauma recovery services to program participants including: psycho-educational group workshops, employment skills workshops, career exploration assessments, 1:1 counselling and coaching.
