Chef/Food Operations Manager

Sweet Meadows Market is looking to expand our team with a Chef/Food Operations Manager who is passionate about local food, creative, and excited for a new start in a creative and stimulating work environment. We specialize in selling local produce and dairy products, our own heritage breed Mulefoot pork products, baked goods, and house-made ice cream. Our business is expanding exponentially and it is time for us to find the right candidate to oversee our ever-growing food program. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded culinary background with experience in executive kitchen duties such as: inventory, product ordering, and cleaning regimens. Current production and recipe design duties will include: baked goods, ice cream, heritage pork products. Future (our ideal candidate's insight is needed and encouraged) production and recipe design duties will include: organic spice blends, market soups, sandwiches, charcuterie, and the list goes on. The possibilities are endless! Our compensation package is well-above traditional restaurant payment structures, and, as stated above, we not only encourage creative freedom, we strive on it!
