ISO: Superstar Attitude and Enthusiasm Deadbeetz is going brick and mortar this Fall, but we're looking for a kick-ass individual that would be over the moon to run the truck that started it all. This is a mostly solo gig with support from the restaurant so we're really looking for a self-starter who preferably has some professional cooking experience (but we are happy to train if you're keen to learn) and outstanding customer service skills. You will be the face and operations of this little burger shack on wheels and it's important to maintain or exceed our service and quality standards as part of the Deadbeetz brand. The truck is located in Downtown Victoria, behind the Royal BC Museum. The shifts are currently Tuesday - Saturday 10:30am-3:30pm (open 11am-3pm) through the Winter and Spring as well as the opportunity to stay on in our busier Summer season in which there are extended hours. This position includes lots of opportunities for training and development for someone who is the right fit. The wage starts at $15/hour plus tips with the possibility of a bonus structure if we find our Superstar. Duties include: opening and closing the truck; taking, preparing and expediting customer food and beverage orders; keeping the truck clean and working tidy; providing excellent customer service and money handling; light prep duties; and overall daily operations of the truck.
