ISO: Junior technician for busy local I.T. company

We're currently on the hunt for a charismatic, honest, keen and independent thinking individual with a solid base of tech savvy to join our small team here in Victoria. Duties include everything from labour - Installing video surveillance and running data and communications cabling, to laptop and desktop repair, to networking, to VPNs, routers, switches, WiFi... the list goes on, which makes this an exciting job to make you a well-rounded technician because no two days are the same! The successful candidate will have strong knowledge in Microsoft and Windows PC troubleshooting, a basic understanding of networking, ability to show up to work on time, a valid driver's license and vehicle, and be keen to learn. On-the-job-training will be provided, but we do need someone with a technical background; even if you're self-taught. No certifications or other pertinent schooling necessary. MUST be comfortable working with hand tools (cordless drills, hammers, crimpers and testers) and climbing ladders. Must be willing to get dirty sometimes, and other times sit at a desk for long periods of time (with plenty of coffee on hand). Remuneration will be discussed and based on past experience.
