$20 · High School Chemistry/Math Tutor

My name is Selena, I am a second year UVic student (Chemistry/Mathematics major) and have been tutoring on the side off/on for 2 years now. My goal by the end of my degree is to become a high school sciences teacher. I have always been a strong student, receiving A grades in all high school courses, and have a 6.8/9 GPA in my university courses. I have a passion for teaching and education, and I would love to help your high-schooler out during this difficult transition to online/home school learning! I am able to tutor the following courses: Science 9 Science 10 Chemistry 11 Chemistry 12 Math 9 Math 10 Pre calc 11 Pre calc 12 Calc 12 English 9-12 I charge 20 dollars an hour, a lower rate than most due to not having yet completed a university degree. Despite this however, l strive to provide the highest quality support that I can. All tutoring sessions will be held over Zoom or Microsoft Teams. I am available to help starting April 20th (when my last exams this semester conclude.) First hour is completely free so you can get a feel for whether I would be a good fit for your child!
