Hate to sell this Rare piece but... Here for sale is the Massive Monster HITACHI SR-2004 "200 Watts Per Channel" Receiver in perfect operating condition and good cosmetics. One of the largest and most powerful receivers sold during the 1970s, a true powerhouse that is rated for 200 watts per channel with reserve power for 400 watts per channel dynamic peak power, enough to drive any speaker you care to connect. Not only powerful a quick search will find you many great reviews and forum statements that attest to its wonderful sonic ability - a very underrated receiver in this regard! Has been serviced through my very experienced tech and is operating perfectly, all controls are static free, all dial lights and meters working. The back half of this receiver is basically venting and cooling fins for the huge torroidal transformer and power supply. An awesome and rare vintage receiver, condition is very good, some silkscreen is faded, but 95% is there in good condition. This receiver is one of the famous Monster Stack Receivers from the famous photo! Pioneer 1980's are going for over $6000 and Sansui 9090's go for up to $1500, this is a better alternative and investment! These are rare seldom seen for sale, very collectible.
