The opportunity exists for a Guest Experience Coordinator to join our small team. This key role is responsible for providing an unforgettable experience by going the extra mile using exceptional customer service and administrative skills. If you are outgoing, reliable, detail oriented and resourceful you will be a great fit. Guest Experience * Welcome and process guest arrivals and departures, including necessary payments * Resort Checks, attending to guest needs and maintaining resort standards (may include occasional light cleaning) * Facilitate excellent guest experience; proactively deliver visitor (tourist) information. * Efficiently handle guests' concerns in a diplomatic, sensitive and confidential manner * Process reservations over the phone, via email and in person * Ensuring ongoing communication with team Oceanside and informing the manager of any and all pertinent activities within the resort. Resort Operations * Promote a work environment and admin practices that are customer focused * Use a can-do approach, lead by example and be a positive role model * Responsibility for front desk accounting systems & procedures, including; Daily cash/credit payments, end of day reporting, front desk float, balancing daily accounts, petty cash, banking admin * Excellent time management skills, multitasking and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision * Carry out administrative duties such as data entry, preparing reports, guest billing and financial data. * Driving seasonal and overnight occupancy through effective sales and marketing * Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; Clean Driver's Abstract and Clean background/criminal check required * Minimum 5 years of customer service experience * Leadership and hospitality experience an asset * Must have valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation * Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills * On call availability for park emergencies Please note that applicants must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal and credit background check.
