Days and Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm What we do: Our graphics team supports three unique lines of business. We design custom metal products like coins and belt buckles for military and emergency services clients, map and interpretive signs for parks, and custom geocaching products. Designing custom coins and map signs requires an artistic yet technical style of design. The perfect candidate will have some technical/graphic design training as well as being artistically creative. What you'll do: Design pressed metal products, primarily challenge coins for clients, under the direction of our Product Design Manager. Work directly with clients to ascertain their goals and design products they love. Examine sketches and analyze design ideas to evaluate their feasibility. Assist with a variety of creative graphic design activities to support all three lines of business. Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills: Artistically creative. Required - proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop. Desired - proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe InDesign. Ability to visualize how a two-dimensional design will look as a three-dimensional product. Ability to specify the technical aspects of a design that will be used to produce a product. Ability to critique one's own work, and the work of others, for accuracy and detail. High-level communication skills - both written and verbal. What We're Looking For: A keen eye for detail including spelling, and technical details of design. Proven ability to understand the big picture, while attending to the details to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
