Modern, attractive super well-maintained Resort in south Las Vegas, Nevada in a gorgeous, quiet location - and very practical.
Note that this is for the purchase of the actual timeshare deeds to the resort - it's not just a 1-time rental! The current price ALSO includes a 245,000 points balance that can be exchanged for more than 5 weeks of vacation in upscale resorts where the typical daily rate is in the $180 range (=$4,500 value!).
The purchase involves (4) 1-BR unit-weeks biennially (generates 147K RCI points in odd years) and (1) 2-BR unit with 2 unit-weeks biennially (generating 98K points in even years), for an average annual of 122,500 points. That's enough for 5 weeks of vacation at the Grandview every 2 years (or more at less expensive resorts!)
The home resort weeks are as follows (for precise dates, see https://weeknumber.net):
1 Bed: Weeks 10, 21, 25, and 29
2 Bed: Week 15 (Unit 1803, Bldg 6) - VERY popular - mid-April.
This is our "home resort" where we've stayed on a number of occasions, but can opt to use our accrued RCI (see www.RCI.com) points for upscale resorts around the world.
With 98,000 points added in even years, and 147,000 points more in odd years, this translates to at least 2-3 weeks of a 1 BR unit each year (or more, depending on location of the desired resort).
For instance, at the Grandview (http://www.vacationvillageresorts.com/VVR/grandview_las_vegas/ ) spring rates are 49,000 points per one-bedroom suite. The units are gorgeous, huge and even have ensuite laundry.
Annual maintenance fees are $1,163, and are paid up for 2019. There are no special assessments on the horizon (these are very well-built facilities). To buy this package through the developer's office would cost as much as $20,000...so this is definitely the best deal in North America right now!!
For more information please see our detailed listing at http://grandview-lasvegas.com/101.html - it shows how in 6 years you could have saved a net of more than $7,000 versus identical vacation purchases without ownership.
Note: All amounts above, including the price, are in US Funds, per industry standard practice.
