Parker's higher end guitars are the best road warriors out there! It provides acoustic tones that can be blended in with the DiMarzio magnetic pickups (Air Zone, Super Distortion) for a full, customizable sound. The neck (compound 9-13" radius) is carbon fibre coated with stainless steel frets, so it's insanely durable and stays in tune despite changes in weather and venue. It has locking tuners and a tremolo that can be easily locked into place providing the stability of a stop-tail bridge. The balance is nearly perfect and its weight is only 6.85 lb! The current build is intended to be as versatile as possible. The acoustic piezo provides acoustic tones, while the DiMarzio Air Zone in the neck sound warm like a hollow-body and the DiMarzio Super Distortion is ideal for classic rock. The wiring adds a "secret" humbucker sound from a coil of each pickup wired in series and a Stratocaster quack-like sound from those separate coils in parallel. A 9 volt battery is required for acoustic tones, but the magnetic pickups do not require power. This started out as a mangled, incomplete Midi Fly, but without midi it's a Nite Fly. Instead of a piezo from 1998 it has a modern Ghost Acousti-Phonic pre-amp and Graph Tech saddles. I am in the process of filling two significant dings in the finish (pictured). An ancient Parker gig bag is included.
