Countertop installer job $17-$30 The successful candidate will have basic power tool knowledge, be competent in measuring and cutting stone as required, physically fit (lift 200lbs while assisted), a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills. A positive attitude must be available for overtime and some weekends. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to build a useful set of skills and become a key player in a thriving industry. Roles and responsibilities will be as follows: transport countertops to specified job sites, install sinks, core holes for faucets, soap pumps, join stone together, cut stone splashes to length, apply beads of caulking and silicone as needed and provide a positive customer experience. Pay will be based upon performance/experience. Wages will be $17 - $30/hr with overtime and time and a half, double time on some occasions. Potential for bonuses. Previous work in carpentry, tile/stone masonry, and cabinetry is an asset. Drivers license required, shop located on alpha street downtown Victoria.
