Mounts to cabinet underside. Works and sounds great, great reception, timer, no static on the volume knob, shuffle / random play, bass control knob. The only thing is that the repeat function button light comes on but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Comes with a handy night light. Has a mounting stencil, but you will need to pick up a few screws as it does not come with any mounting hardware (four 1.5" screws and washers).
