Full Time Receptionist

Mid Sized automotive dealership located in Victoria, BC is looking for a Full-time Receptionist to add to their team. To fulfill this position your main qualities should be professionalism both in person and on the phone, cheerful disposition and pride in your work. You need to be attentive to details, enjoy a team environment, work well under pressure and able to multi-task. Common sense, courtesy and respect and punctuality are must haves. Your main duties will be: * Greeting customers both on the phone and in person in a friendly and courteous manner and directing them to the appropriate department or personnel * Inventory maintenance which involves entry of new & used vehicles into the database, updates on same and posting of vehicles through accounting program * Basic accounting skills needed for Accounts Payable and Receivable back up * Processing customer deposits and vendor payments through the Moneris machine and writing receipts * Ensuring customer comfort by maintaining the waiting areas and showroom fresh coffee and supplies along with general clean up * Other duties as assigned by the management team Hours: This position is Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:00pm with a half hour lunch Overtime is not expected. Compensation, Benefits & Time-off: * Starting wage is dependent on experience, but in the range of $14-$16 p/hr * After 90 days employment you will be eligible for full benefits including medical, dental & employee assistance program.
