Victoria, BC, Canada Part Time________________________________________ Expires 2019/06/11 Simply Fun Childcare Centers Inc. is seeking F/T Early Childhood Education Teammate Compensation: * Position: Early Childhood Education Teacher * Employment term: Permanent, full-time * Start Date: ASAP * Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/hr (depending on experience) * Hours: 40 hours/week * Benefits: 4% vacation pay per year Job Duties: * Be able to assist with the planning and implementation of a program that is educational and child-centered, including documentation * Detect the signs of potential learning or behavioural problems of children, and prepare reports for parents, guardians or supervisor. * Guide children with challenging behaviours and teach them to eat properly, dress, and appropriate toilet habits. * Recognize and understand child development stages * Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members * Plan activities by reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to field-trip of interest * Provide opportunities to express creativity through diverse activities * Always maintain healthy and safe learning environment for children Job Requirements: * Valid E.C.E Certificate * Experience is an asset * Valid First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate Educational Requirement: * A college certificate or diploma in early childhood education Language Requirements: English Number of positions: 1 Company Information: Simply Fun Childcare Centers Inc.
