Free run groups!
We have free run groups starting up on Sat Jan 25, there will be a learn to run 10K group designed for beginners (or rather rusty people!) and depending on numbers a half marathon group either targeting Oak Bay or the North Olympic Half.
We will start by meeting at Esquimalt-Gorge park (1st right after heading across Gorge Bridge on Tillicum) for the first couple weeks, sessions will be Sat 8am, Mon 6pm and Thurs 6pm but if you can't make all three, no worries I will email out what the plan is each session in advance so you can follow at home.
The Learn to Run group will get you ready in time for the TC10K and you don't need to have any previous running experience!

This is a fun, non-competitive, supportive group. Do not worry about pace, we will have all sorts of paces. For the first while until we figure out smaller pace groups, the learn to run group will loop back on itself each walk break so no one is left at the back of the pack. If you've ever wanted to get into running but been intimidated or didn't want to shell out cash for a clinic, this is the perfect opportunity for you, nothing to lose! You're welcome even to come to the first session to see how you like it!
