All feature gold stamping on the front and back cover and spine. All have a sewn-in silk bookmark, silk moire endpages, raised spine hubs, and gold gilt on all three sides of the text block as well as unique illustrations throughout. Books are in really great shape with just several exhibiting shelf wear, some gold gilt loss, or some degree of scuffs/abrasions. Most are in fine condition and would add elegance to a bookshelf or bookcase and provide years of reading. Great for the collector, the beginner collector, or the aficionado of fine literature. Also included are 98 notes from the editors to accompany the set as well as the 4 boxes that would have come with the completed set to house the notes (a good value on their own!).
