$2,000 · Ford Escape 06 RARE Manual Transmission!

An awesome Ford Escape 2006!! 245xxx Manual transmission FWD. Hard to find these! Great suv has served us well for a year. I have started my own business and need a van so can't afford both but we have used it for some great camping trips. No off road, been taken care of really well. Seats fold down completely flat so perfect for camping. Roof racks on there plus a dog grate thrown in. I have seat covers on in the front but will be taking those out sorry. Some cosmetics like scratches but overall in good shape. One issue when we got it was the passenger door wouldn't lock so I replaced that. The rear passenger has gone but I just keep it manually locked so not a problem. Previous owner replaced battery and tires just before I bought it last year. Plus link rods and she kept up with regular maintenance. Since I have had it I have replaced the whole exhaust muffler set up as it had rusted a hole and was loud. Sounds real good now. I have also replaced the thermostat so heats up real good and the ac works great. Brand new alternator also!!!! This is a big expense so you won't have to worry about that for the remainder of it's lifetime. There is a code that keeps coming up...basically the o2 sensor in the catalytic converter says the Cat is under efficiency. An oxygen spacer can be installed for like $200. Or a new Cat is quoted at the shop at $1800. (Main cat) I can't really afford to drop the 1800 so thats why the price is reduced so someone else can do it. Car runs fine regardless. If i was going to keep the vehicle I would get it done but I need to sell the vehicle anyway. Lots of essential work been done to keep this going for a long time. Also the fact it is a manual transmission means you dont have to worry about that failing which inevitably does on old automatics. Shame to let it go but you will be getting a used car at a good time when it is cheap but a lot of the major work has been done so you don't have to worry. Our intention was to do this work and keep it ourselves but a change in career paths mean I need a different vehicle. Shame to see it go but it will serve someone well!!
