Hi! Thanks very much for checking out my listing :) After having lived in Ireland (where I earned a Masters degree in Traditional Irish Music Performance) and then more recently in Quebec, where I immersed myself in that fiddle tradition, I've settled back down in Victoria, and have an extensive repertoire of traditional fiddle tunes (Irish, Quebecois, Old-time American, east coast, Scottish +), a very developed style (ornamentation, variation, bowing, phrasing and so on) and a strong passion for music with which I'm looking to share with a few keen students! I bring to the table 25 years of playing experience and more than 15 years experience teaching and performing professionally. Throughout the course of my career, I have received a number of awards, nominations and bursaries; been featured in online, radio and print media, toured in Canada, the US, Europe and the UK and released 4 full-length, critically-acclaimed studio albums. If you are an intermediate to advanced player interested in learning more about ornamentation , variations , bowings , crooked tunes , alternate ( open ) tunings etc . --hit me up !!
