I used this as a roof box. Guy I bought from used on his boat. It's for an RV. Uses are limited by your imagination, I guess. Inside fitted my foldup mattress plus some stuff on top, so it's bigger than 48x24x12 inside. Has struts to keep it open and I can include mounting hardware if it works for your application. Selling because it doesn't fit nicely between racks on my new car. * Car not included
