Hourly Wage: $22.4050 - $25.3500 Location: Rest Haven Lodge (primary) - can also be assigned to work at Beckley Farm Lodge, Nigel House and Harriet House Position / Schedule: 108288 / 9:00-4:30pm Monday-Friday (35 hours weekly) Status: Regular Full-Time Competition # 2019-124 Closing Date: 20November2019 Do you want to be part of an amazing team? DUTIES: Under supervision, is responsible for general maintenance, repairs and alterations to the building structure, furniture, equipment, and appliances. QUALIFICATIONS: Secondary school graduation with several years' experience in general building maintenance and equipment repairs; Experience in the operation and maintenance of hand and power tools, appliances, specialized medical equipment; trade skills including plumbing, minor electrical repairs, painting, drywall patching and installation, door hardware repairs, wheel maintenance, flooring and carpentry repairs, mechanical equipment maintenance, landscaping, and blue print reading; Experience with environmental and building safety responsibilities including maintenance, fire and emergency preparedness, building security, WHMIS and infection control; Experience using computers and various software programs including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel; Ability to deal effectively with residents and resident families, contractors, suppliers, co-workers, and other clients.
