Little Piggy Catering is hiring a permanent full time Catering Cook. The position involves preparing food for office catering, buffet and reception style events. Style of food ranges from soups and sandwiches, to BBQ, large buffets to plated dinners. You must be able to drive. Similarly, you must be presentable and courteous with customers. A vehicle is not required, but is an asset (mileage provided). Shifts are mainly daytime, but some evenings are required (evening shifts tend to finish by 8-9pm.) We operate 7 days a week. Qualifications: -Drivers License -Professional kitchen experience -Culinary education is an asset -Comfortable with grilling and carveries -Must be comfortable taking responsibility for your work, working with limited supervision. -Must be able to work with, and without, formal recipes. -Physical fitness appropriate for kitchen and offsite catering work (extended periods of standing, lifting up to 50lbs etc...).
