BladeRunners is a FREE employment readiness program for people between the ages of 16 - 30 who are experiencing barriers to employment and would benefit from employment support and on-going mentorship. Due to COVID-19, Personal Protective Equipment will be provided, and social distancing measures will be in place to ensure that all BC Health Authority Standards are met. Start Date: July 6th, 2020 The BladeRunners program consists of two weeks of online/classroom learning and assisted job search. A $300 completion bonus will be provided, along with the following certifications and support: Occupational First Aid level 1 WHMIS Back and Ladder Safety FoodSafe Employability skills workshops Life skills workshops Once you have finished training and secured a job, you are eligible to receive the appropriate clothing and tools to start!
