Extraction Technician

We are a small team of highly skilled professionals in the Regulatory Cannabis industry seeking a new Technician for irregular casual work as projects dictate. Working under the Extraction Manager and QAP you will gain valuable experience and mentorship. * Please note the site location is in Mill Bay with no transit access, must have own reliable transportation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operating highly sophisticated extraction equipment to process concentrates and extracts. Sanitation, cleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and facility. Maintain batch production records in accordance with standard operating procedures. Monitor instruments such as temperature or pressure gauges, indicators, or meters to ensure optimal processing conditions. Maintaining strict inventory records of raw materials, chemicals and equipment. Recording all pertinent details related to extraction processe Handling pressurized gas/liquid cylinders. Handling solvent drums and containers. Safe handling of hazardous and high pressure materials. Comply with Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) protocol and regulations. Ensure safe operation of all equipment and site, including pressure vessels. Coordinate with managers to design, set and implement manufacturing schedule based off of current product demands. Establish and maintain equipment files to include any qualification/commissioning documents, repair or modification history, preventive maintenance and calibration records.
