Experienced Sr. Accountant Required

This position is responsible for full accounting cycle for two companies and provides an exciting opportunity of increasing responsibility and pay for the right candidate. You should be fast on your feet and critical thinking. Annual financials plus supporting documentation Reconciling monthly bank statements and general ledger accounts Preparing intercompany reconciliations Provide monthly P&L reporting for companies Reconciling holdbacks, deposits, accounts receivable and accounts payable Keeping track of cash flows and preparing cash flow forecasts/analysis Preparing payroll calculations, paycheques and source deduction remittances Experience with taxation, GST / PST returns and preparation Experience preparing T2's Ability to supervise and maintain process & controls for accuracy Ability to supervise and maintain process & controls for payroll 5 Years experience managing full cycle accounting Ideally a professional accounting designation Ease of use with Microsoft office Must be fully experienced using Quick Books Experience with payroll You must be a strong multi-tasker with ability to work independently Ability to meet deadlines Excellent analytical skills and insight Very strong at organizing and communicating You have supervised staff and comfortable tasking duties and ensuring tasks get done on time and as expected Salary is commensurate with experience, starting at $65,000
