Experienced Mature Server Wanted

The Renaissance is a boutique retirement residence that provides independent living for 75+-year-old seniors. The monthly rent for one and two-bedroom suites include chef-prepared meals in a very comfortable, formal dining room with linen table cloth and professional table service by the waitstaff. The close relationship between staff and the residents is what sets The Renaissance apart but it is the superb dining experience that makes it one of a kind. Position Title: Dining Room Server Hours: Part-time Compensation: This is an hourly position with a wage based on past experience in a similar role. Position Summary: Working as a team your responsibility is to maintain a high standard of appearance, hospitality, service, and cleanliness throughout the dining room and kitchen. Take resident's orders and serve them while being attentive to their needs Qualifications and Skills: This position is ideal for a mature individual Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Experience in a fine dining setting and plate service is preferred but willing to train for the right person Certificates/Education: Grade 12 Diploma
