We seek a legal assistant with experience in civil and/or quasi-criminal litigation, MVA/insurance defense or local government. We are centrally located with free parking in the Chatterton Way offices in Broadmead, Saanich BC. You have: - 3 or more years' experience as a legal assistant, preference for those with experience working on defence or plaintiff ICBC files or local government litigation - A legal assistant diploma or applicable education is preferred - Experience with desktop publishing software, PowerPoint and solid grasp of Microsoft Office - Detail oriented and can produce quality, timely written work from dictation - Strong knowledge of Supreme and Provincial court forms, rules, templates and procedures - Knowledgeable and comfortable using technology such as Clio, webinar and practice management software and social media tools Please email your resume to office@govlaw.ca Attn: Troy DeSouza.
