I am currently looking to fill a couple of days in my week with some additional work. My availability is Thursdays and Fridays and every other wednesday. I have been very lucky in my opportunities to learn over the past nine years that I have been working in human services. I started out working with children and adults with developmental disabilities both in the home as a respite worker, in preschools, and in group homes with adults. I have a great deal of experience working with children who are on the Autism spectrum, as well as people with seizure disorders. From there, I was a support worker and then resource manager working with at risk youth, supporting the mental health and development of youth under 19 with trauma informed practice at the forefront. For the last two years I have worked with the homeless community, focusing on mental health and substance use, as well as the supportive housing model. I have quite a bit of experience with overdose prevention and Naloxone administration. If you are in need of a support worker/ECEA part time, please feel free to contact me by email. Thank you!
