Position Overview: Cabinet installer has ability to deliver and complete cabinet installations from start to finish with confidence. Working at various sites, both residential and commercial in accordance with Murphy Wall-beds standards of operation. The main responsibilities are to strive for quality, problem solving with efficiency, and maintain a professional attitude while having the utmost respect for the client's property. Job Duties: Inspect materials in shop, load and organize delivery truck, confirm details and paperwork Perform delivery and installations with ability to problem solve, reason and understand detailed written and oral instructions Discuss with clients the operations, care and requirements of new installations Provide excellent customer service completing all work to standards requested by clients and Murphy Wall-beds Work under time constraints to meet planned timelines and production standards Be a team member, working in shop under instruction or leading at installations Qualifications: Carpentry and/or cabinet experience required Excellent hand tool skills and ability to use power tools Ability to take and understand measurements and discuss installation options Drivers abstract - Eligible and able to operate delivery box truck Ability to work within a team, in pairings or independently as required Strong verbal and written communication skills Multi-tasking and organizational skills allowing for flexibility and efficiency Physical Demands: Frequent lifting from 10 - 100 lbs depending on the cabinetry Ability to move efficiently and with purpose during delivery Carry parts up stairs or use dolly in hallways or elevators Willing to train unskilled but motivated worker looking for long term security and excellent work environment.
