As an Warehouse Worker/Assembler you will be responsible for assembling, fitting and mounting electrical components. You will be required to test the prepared products and prepare them for final inspection. To be successful in this position you will have a strong mechanical aptitude and good attention to detail. This location is a large manufacturing and distribution company with room for growth. This is a contract position for about 3 months with the opportunity to turn into a long term permanent position for the right person Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: - assemble products based on oral and/or written instructions - follow established procedures - perform routine maintenance on equipment - maintain high quality standards by inspecting and testing products - prepare finished products for shipment - daily use of hand tools and measurement devices - work in a diverse and busy team environment - lift 35lbs repetitively at times - work in a fast paced manner using a proactive approach - work in a warehouse setting picking and packing orders - utilize reach trucks to move product through warehouse; load and unload trucks - other duties as assigned Advantages - training provided - great work environment with a strong emphasis on safety - weekly pay - Monday to Friday, 6:15am-2pm or 2pm-10pm must be flexible with both - overtime available Qualifications - high school diploma or equivalent - one or more years in assembly or manufacturing environment would be considered an asset - ability to read blue prints - ability to work in a team environment - ability to work in a fast paced environment - basic computer skills - strong attention to detail - reach truck experience and certification would be an asset If you would like to be considered for this position please apply now!
