Elanor - German Shepherd Dog

Elanor arrived into BC SPCA care in early April, we haven't had her long but she's warmed up to all our staff! This girl is a charmer, she'll wiggle her butt right into your heart! Elanor is all smiles when she meets new people, she just can't wag her tail fast enough! This little lady had a rough start to life and is looking for her furever family to rescue her and help her start a new chapter! Elanor is full of love to give and quick to cuddle or play depending on your mood. She could use some help with basic manners and obedience classes as she's never had the opportunity to learn. If you've got the treats to train her, she promises to be a quick study! Elanor appears to have a dislike of other dogs, while we haven't tested this extensively, in shelter she has been wary and stand-off-ish when confronted by other dogs. She may behave differently in a less stressful setting with appropriate introductions. Due to the fact Elanor is used to being outdoors we would like to place her in a home with yard access if possible, though access to a green space would work as well. Elanor is not well suited to apartment living as she can be a little whiney when left alone and really enjoys having her own yard to play in.
