Just Peachy Child Care, located in Brentwood Bay, is looking for a fantastic Early Childhood Educator to co-run their program. We are searching for the perfect, energetic, reliable and passionate person that will guide and stimulate young minds through daily indoor and outdoor play-based activities. Part time to Full time starting December 2019 24 - 40 hours/week, 8 hours a day 12-18 month temporary position pending return of incumbent with possibility of a permanent position $20.00/hour - $22.00/hour with the new Wage Enhancement funding (as of April 2020) Requirements: Early Childhood Education Certificate, Infant Toddler Certificate an asset. Early Childhood Assistant certificate considered. BC License to Practice as an Early Childhood Educator Clear Criminal Record Check will be conducted First Aid Certificate Minimum two reference letters Job Duties: Follow Just Peachy Child Care's philosophy Develop and implement activities in our early childhood setting for children between 12 months - 5 years Ensure that all children are treated with respect and that the program meets their individual developmental needs. Daily communication with parents regarding various aspects of care for their children. Must be able to work alone and in an educator partnership to deliver an exciting and enriching program.
