ECE (Belmont Early Learning Centre - Westhills)

View Royal Childcare (Belmont Early Learning Centre) offers Preschool and Daycare services for children newborn to 5-years. We are a fully licensed and insured childcare provider through the province of BC. Our programs are play-based and are designed to promote children's physical, social, intellectual and linguistic development. Now we are in need of full-time ECE (for infants program) to our new location in Langford (Belmont) POSITION: ---------------- Full-time ECE (one position) RESPONSIBILITIES: --------------------------- * Responsible for carrying out program that promotes physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children. * Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing art. * Arrange rooms (or) furniture for snack and play * Arrange with proper eating, dressing and toilet habits * Maintain childcare equipment and attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children * May act as supervisor in times of need QUALIFICATIONS: ------------------------- * Completion of ECE * Experience working in infants program * Valid ECE license to practice * Current Criminal Record Check * Valid standard First-Aid with CPR-C * Doctor's note stated that you are eligible to work with children * Minimum two (2) reference letters * Flexibility in work schedule (work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm).
