Delivery Driver - $250 signing bonus

$250 Signing Bonus! (paid after 90 day anniversary of employment) New wage! Do you want to get to work and smell fresh bread every morning? Do you enjoy working 4, 10 hour shifts and having 3 days a week off? Do you love working a physical job? Read on! Portofino Bakery is looking for a few Delivery Drivers to add to our team! Our drivers load their trucks early in the morning and start delivering to our customers right away. Sometimes we are dropping off orders and getting signatures, other times we are merchandising our customers shelves, taking inventory and issuing credits. We drive 1 ton cube trucks, no additional licencing is required. Driving experience is great, but above all we are looking for someone with a great attitude and strong work ethic. You will be responsible for: -Ensuring our orders are delivered in a safe and timely manner. -Providing excellent customer service. -Efficient merchandising of our products when required. -Understanding routes and following procedures for each customer. -Arriving on time and ready to work. Job Requirements: -Drivers must be able to start work between 2:30am-4:00am. -Must be in good physical shape and have the ability to lift up to 50lbs. -Must have great availability during all 7 days of the week. -Must have a clean drivers abstract and Class 5 Drivers License. -Must have transportation to work during times where public transit does not operate. Compensation: -$16.50 starting wage. Some negotiating room based on experience. -Opportunity to earn $17.50 after 6 months and $18.25 after your first anniversary based on performance. -Annual wage increases. -Medical and Dental benefits including Life Insurance after 6 months. -Annual cost of living wage increase. -Opportunity for advancement.
