This is a fun and interesting job where each day is different as we explore the region's neighbourhoods while meeting with and serving lots of interesting people right inside their homes. This is indoor work, sheltered from the weather, and no experience is necessary. We need people from 1 to 3 full days per week. Even if you're only available for one full day per week we want to hear from you. Typical pay is $140-190 per day. We're an in-home cleaning service company. We need the help of physically fit, energetic, confident, polite, non-smoking people to safely drive our work vans and assist our technicians serving clients in their homes by cleaning carpets and upholstery. No cleaning experience necessary but good customer service and communication skills are essential. The job entails driving to customer's homes throughout Greater Victoria, meeting with them, and cleaning their various items. Depending on the day, there could be 1-6 appointments... each day is unique. Must be able to lift our equipment -some weighing up to 100lbs- up and down staircases repeatedly and be physically coordinated. Must provide ICBC driver's record. Class 5 or better is preferred but N class drivers will be considered. Work starts at 8:30 AM in the Prospect Lake area where there is poor bus service, so you must be able to get there reliably in the morning and have a way to get home later. There is free, safe, all-day parking available. The workdays are usually 7-10 hours long but can go longer. The end of day finishing time varies depending on the number, size, and location of cleaning appointments. We need to know which full weekdays you would be available, and starting when.
