Winer, Prentice-Hall Inc. 1977 - 272 pages Designed to let you learn by yourself and at your own pace, this book shows you how to choose and work with all types of materials - including charcoal, pencil, pen and ink, pastels and watercolours. There are step-by-step instructions that show how to create original landscapes, still lifes, and portraits, as well as figure and animal drawings. It also details how to work with perspective, composition, and the other elements that comprise good drawing. I am selling a large collection of books, primarily "how to" books for art. Many are instructional books and cover the range of media. Some are reference books I picked up for particular pieces (trains, dogs, butterflies, etc.). A few of the books are on specific artists work (Warhol, etc.). The books vary from very old (early 1900's) to very new (Deco Devolution: The Art of Bioshock 2).
