Double Your Donation - Community Member Steps Up With Incredible Matching Gift

For the past 29 years, leaders in our community have supported our hospitals through Visions, the Victoria Hospitals Foundation's signature gala. While plans were made for this year's 30th anniversary celebration, we have decided to postpone Visions until November 2021. It was a decision made with a heavy heart. Visions has always honoured our caregivers and hospital teams—we will not celebrate until they can be there with us.

Long-time Visions supporters Charlotte Salomon, Q.C. and Chris Robinson, have stepped up with an incredible $200,000 challenge to the community. In support of It's Critical, The Salomon Robinson Family Foundation will match all community donations up to $200,000. We're inspired and incredibly grateful.

The $7 million It's Critical fundraising campaign will put life-saving critical care equipment into the hands of our care teams, and build Vancouver Island's first permanent High Acuity Unit. This will nearly double critical care capacity at Royal Jubilee hospital, and improve critical care for our community for years to come. New equipment has already arrived and is being operationalized at RJH thanks to our community's support so far.
