This is a great kayak for a beginner or an intermediate paddler who wants a safe, newer style boat. 14 feet long, 23.5 inches wide and 13 inches deep, with a cockpit that measures 32" x 17" - easy to enter and exit. With rudder, and gas-pedal style foot controls for great bracing ability. Soft chine and moderate V-shaped hull make this a very stable but maneuverable craft. Multi-position seat; recessed bungee deck lines. Two large press-lock hatches give lots of packing room and there is a third day hatch that can be accessed easily when you are on the water. Thermoform ABS - has some superficial scratches but nothing affecting performance or safety. At 45 pounds, it is easy to carry and load on vehicle. Comes with cockpit cover and nylon spray skirt. $1500. I bought this used from Ocean River two years ago - it had been part of their rental fleet for a couple of years (where all the scratches came from!), and so has OR decals that I have not tried to remove.
