$500 · DIY “”Camperizing Kit” built for L400 Delica Van

This is a slick, well-made, removeable "camperizing kit" set-up specifically made for our previous van.... a 1998 L400 Delica. It is VERY well designed, well built. light but very strong. We decided to purchase a used truck and truck camper, so no longer need this set up. BTW...... we now have our 1998 L400 Delica Van for sale... (this ad is not about selling the van!!) Aluminum square tubing with nylon fittings for the frame. 1/2 inch plywood with hinges for accessing spaces. Fits inside AND you can still keep one or both middle seats in the van when not camping. We chose to remove the seat nearest the door and then kept the one middle seat in the van even when camping. You can also put in 1/2 of the set-up along the passenger side.... leaving room for a single bed and a space for gear (surfboard, bikes, etc) Framing design allows for 1. long space for pull-out kitchen (see further in the ad) 2. back space for cooler (there is a cigarette lighter at the back to plug cooler in easily) (cooler not included) 3. storage space behind cooler (accessed easily from side door) for 2 clothing bins plus more) 4. small spaces on sides for smaller items. 5. plenty of head room when sleeping on a 4 inch mattress. very slick!!
