The Cybex Arc trainer is the basically the best of the best, top of the line trainers, these arc trainers, are sometimes referred to as Elliptical Trainers, however CYBEX does not call them Elliptical, but Arc, and they are made for commercial use, which are highly sought after and used for physio therapy, as they are known to be the best for injuries, knee's, hip's etc....... and known not too cause damage let alone to help heal & repair by physio etc. Do your homework, search them up, you will hardly see them for sale from a lightly used environment, many are reconditioned, from a gym, where they were heavily used, and worn out. These Arc trainers are so smooth, and amazing on the body, joints etc. No power needed, they have their own built-in generator, so you can use anywhere. The Cybex Arc Trainer offers broad incline and resistance ranges which mean it is really 3 machines in one. At the lower incline levels, the "glide" is a cross country skier. In the mid-range levels, the motion is a "stride" (like an elliptical except with proper positioning). At the high levels, the "climb" of a stepper or climber. Glide, Stride, and Climb. Programmable, and no more "elliptical knee injuries or soreness".
