$16 · Customer Service & Scheduling Assistant, $16-$22 per hour

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers in person and on the phone, working cooperatively with the Jr. Operations Manager. The core responsibilities of the position are to provide retail customer service when customers visit the store, to assist our technicians in scheduling and preparing for jobs to be completed, and processing payment for completed jobs. The ideal candidate will possess strong listening and communication skills allowing them to accurately receive and convey customer instructions for orders as they are received verbally in-person or over the phone and logged appropriately into our production queue. Strong organizational skills and a task orientation will be beneficial to our ideal candidate as they will schedule and prepare technicians for various appointments around Greater Victoria, and process payments from completed work. This position is also responsible to keep our showroom clean, tidy, and presentable to clients. While this is an entry-level position at our company, there is opportunity to assist and learn sales, accounting, procurement skills and for career growth within the company. The rate of pay within the quoted range will be commensurate with the candidate's skills and experience.
