Crystal Reports Developer

Crystal Report Developer: Megabyte Systems is the market leader in California Property Tax Systems, providing property tax accounting and auditing solutions to county government. We currently have an opportunity (in our Victoria, BC office) for a Crystal Report Developer with proven experience in business applications. Please respond to jobs-yyj@megabytesystems.com Typical Duties: * Developing and Maintaining Crystal Reports for the MPTS for our clients. * Coordinating and communicating cross-functional activities to senior management and other team members to develop and maintain reports. * Diagnosing and fixing reporting bugs found by quality assurance testers and the user community. * Overseeing reporting and providing technical expertise and mentoring to other developers. Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate will be responsible for both the development of new as well as the support and enhancement of the current Crystal Reports that we currently maintain, as well as excellent customer services skills and a solid understanding of business strategy. Effective communication skills, both written and oral are essential, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience with Crystal Reports development. Candidates must also be familiar with MS SQL, development of Stored Procedures and .Net Framework integration of reports.
