Country Grocer - Accounts Payable Clerk

Ensure invoices are authorized, mathematically correct, prices verified and purchases reconciled. Issue payments and reconcile vendor statements. - Accounts payable data entry batch checking and review for errors and consistency amongst stores. - Maintain clearing accounts. Follow up on outstanding items. - Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of Accounts Receivable. - Process invoices, issue monthly statements, record cash receipts and monitor outstanding debt. - Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of cash sheets. Review, reconcile, adjust and post weekly cash sheets. - Distribute final version. - Produce and distribute the weekly management report. - Verify inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, calculate gross profit and report results to department and store managers. - Responsible for accurate and timely filing of the GST returns. - Responsible for accurate and timely filing of the PST returns, including knowledge and compliance of self assessment requirements. - Reconcile bank accounts weekly. - Fulfill and maintain proper record keeping and filing requirements.
