Cooperstown Anniversary ball Signed by Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Duke Snider, and Whitey Ford This baseball is from a Canadian Baseball hall of fame salute to Cooperstown luncheon. Dated May 1, 1989. All autographs in excellent condition NEW LOWER PRICE. Mickey Mantle, nicknamed "The Commerce Comet" or "The Mick", was an American professional baseball player. He was a Major League Baseball centerfielder and first baseman for the New York Yankees for 18 seasons, from 1951 through 1968. Mantle is regarded by many to be the greatest switch hitter of all time, and one of the greatest players- and sluggers, in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974 and was elected to the Major League Baseball All-Century Team in 1999. Willie Mays, nicknamed "The Say Hey Kid" is an American former professional baseball player who spent the majority of his Major League Baseball career as a center fielder with the New York and San Francisco Giants before finishing with the New York Mets. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1979, his first year of eligibility. Duke Snider, nicknamed "The Silver Fox" and "The Duke of Flatbush", was a Major League Baseball center fielder and left-handed batter who played for the Brooklyn and Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, and San Francisco Giants. Snider was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980. Whitey Ford is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher who spent his entire 16-year career with the New York Yankees. He was voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1974.
