$80,000 · Construction Project Manager

With our ever-expanding work load, we are currently looking to hire a full time, knowledge construction manager to oversee our on site operations. Our operations are primarily focused on residential custom homes, however we have just commenced our first multi-family development, with the intention of more in the near future. General Requirements 5+ years experience in the construction industry 5+ years managing subtrades or employees Gold Seal Certified Project Manger (or equivalent) General Responsibilities Manager on site operations, and ensure work is being performed efficiently; Regularly check work vs plan; Provide thoughtful solutions to problems; Possess a thorough understanding of all working drawings and plans; Engage with clients on a regular basis; Ensure construction schedule is adhered to; Assist in material orders and takeoffs; The successful candidate will have the following: An intimate knowledge of all construction processes; A general understanding of development processes, eg. permits, municipal applications, zoning bylaws etc.; Experience managing multiple subtrades simultaneously; Experience managing a team of employees; Ability to read and interpret working drawings; Familiarity with CAD software (eg. AutoCAD, Vectorworks etc); Ability to convey information coherently and concisely to all required parties, via text, phone, email, or in person; An excellent work ethic, and an attitude to find solutions, not problems; Experience with takeoff software (eg.
