Community Support Worker / Home health Care

Things have changed. A microboard (that's a non-profit society that cares for 1 client, often a family member) has been hiring CSW's for 19 years to assist an adult female with developmental disabilities. However recent changes in physical condition has left the client with mobility issues that require more physical and personal care, as well as support in the community. We have one full-time position open, the hours being Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, at $20.50/ hour. We also have part time spaces 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm at $19.50/ hour. Experience dealing with transfers (wheelchair to bed or bath tub, etc) and some knowledge of FASD or Autism would be useful, but full training and support is proved. You must have a driver's license, 1st aid, a good sense of humour, and a love for dogs, chatting, and watching movies.
