The Bill Mudge Residence is an 11 bed Community Residential Facility for men transitioning from prison to community. The house operates under the (not for profit) auspices of the Laren Society Journey from Inside Out. We require a person to fill an overnight position for Saturday, Sunday, Monday Tuesday, as well as attend a monthly case conference. The shifts will be from 10:45pm - 7:00am and the worker will be required to stay awake for the duration of this time. The rate of pay will be $18.90. The successful candidate will also be required to do relief shifts as needed. Duties include providing supervision, interventions & support for men whom have been granted a form of conditional release to the community by the Parole Board of Canada. Experience is an asset. Applicants must be eligible to obtain an Enhanced Security Clearance from Public Works Canada. An applicant must have lived in Canada for a minimum of five years to be granted this status.
