Collections Specialist / Hourly + Commission

We are looking for an experienced Collections Specialist to join our accounting team at U-PAK Mobile Mini-Storage in Victoria. U-PAK is a growing mobile storage company with locations in Victoria, Langford, Vancouver & Pitt Meadows. Description: In this role you will work closely with other team members in the Accounting Department to ensure tasks are completed on time and accurately. It is expected that the successful candidate will spend the majority of their time Collection procedures. The successful candidate will effectively employ company collection policies in order to collect past due ( 90+ days) accounts. Being familiar with the Warehouse Lien Act of BC is a definite plus. We are looking for: Prior experience in the collection of small debts Prior experience with Quickbooks Accounting software Experience using Microsoft Suite of Products, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. College diploma in accounting or prior demonstrated equivalent bookkeeping experience Great communication skills in verbal, phone and written media Ability to prioritize items and not afraid to ask for help when needed This is a part time opportunity reporting directly to the CFO at our head office at 878 Viewfield Road, Victoria, BC.
