Clothing Processor/Pricer

Are you passionate about clothing, accessories, fabrics, vintage textiles, or the history of fashion? Do you enjoy: thrift shopping, sewing, fashion, knitting, quilting or crafting? WIN is a non-profit social enterprise that runs 5 Resale Shops in Victoria and is self-funded in providing programs for women in Victoria. If you are someone who wants to make a positive difference in your community, then this is the job for you. In this position you will: * Sort and price clothing, shoes and accessories donations according to WIN standards, * Assist in the preparation of clothing orders, * Work effectively as part of a team and support other team members when needed, * Follow all health & safety procedures and policies established by WIN. Skills and Experience required: * Interest in and knowledge of clothing, textiles and fashion, * Strong knowledge of quality standards for clothing, * Has a wide variety of knowledge related to pricing standards for second hand clothing, linens, shoes and accessories; knowledge of retro, vintage and top designer brands are an asset, * Knows about and values the work that WIN does in the community * Able to work well in a team setting, is resourceful, has a positive attitude and is a good communicator, * Able to work in a dusty warehouse environment and perform various repetitive motion tasks, * Is able to lift up to 25lbs.
