We are currently looking for Class 1 Delivery Driver representatives to do grocery store deliveries in order to serve the food shopping needs of Canadians all around the Greater Victoria Area. Delivery drivers are a critical part of our success in building relationships with our local customers through courteous, on-time, and accurate deliveries. The Typical shift has between 8-10 hours. There are morning and afternoon shifts available with start times as early as 5:00 am. As a Class 1 Delivery Driver Representative, you are required to: * Pre-inspect truck * Complete manifest/ log book * Ensure that the proper documentation is maintained * Maintain equipment and report any damages, necessary repairs, or malfunctions * Drive transport truck or straight truck in a safe and respectful manner * Ensure merchandise loaded in the vehicle is stowed in a safe and damage-free manner * Unload trailer at stores * Ensure case-count delivered corresponds with order, pick up credit, or damaged product * Maintain good working relations with customers at all times through cooperative attitude and well-groomed appearance * Exercise good driving manners and taking precautionary measures during inclement weather conditions * Follow the instructions outlined in the driver SOP and pay attention to detail * Maintain a clean and safe work environment as per company requirements * Responsible for all other duties assigned by the manager Advantages: (Benefits starts in after 2 months) * $23-27 per hour, based on experience. * Health and dental benefits * 2 weeks Vacation * Medical and dental benefits * Growth Opportunities within the company * Overtime pay * Pension package option * A career in a solid, stable company with strong core values * Competitive base salary
