Going for a smaller car, so I'm selling this old whip to someone looking for a budget car. Open to offers! Let me know if more photos / info are desired. The good: - fresh oil change 400km ago - fresh brakes within the past year - low KM! And driven by my relative in the city 95% of it's life. - comfy, spacious, fits my mt bike with seats folded down - Not bad on gas for a car this size (~ 9L per 100km) - Reasonable insurance rates - easy to spot in a parking lot :) read below The bad: -* there's oil in the coolant (but NO coolant in the oil). Mechanic thought it was just wear and tear on an old car, needs a coolant flush for $200 or so. Worst case is a blown head gasket - A/C doesn't always work - Has a white quarter panel and black hood (rear ended someone @ ~15km/hr because the brake pads were worn) - brakes shudder over 100kph, but mechanics said it doesn't affect braking performance (just annoying and shaky) The Verdict: - Still gets you from A to B - Might not last forever with the coolant issue, but not a pressing concern for day to day use. I use this car for deliveries 3 days a week with no issues - Would likely cost $500-600 to do coolant flush and fix the brake shuddering (either wheel balance or warped rotors), assuming gaskets are okay - Makes a great car for casual use!
